I am in the slow process of building a hobby CNC machine that will use a standard wood router and have a cutting area of 1' by 2' by about 5" high. I have the design ironed out, purchased the metal structural components, and have the wood for the wooden parts of the structure in the garage. I need to cut out the individual components of both wood and metal, put it together, buy the electronics, and pray that i spent enough time designing that I will not have any surprises in the end…or middle for that matter. It should easily be able to cut material as hard as aluminum or brass. Here are some CAD screen shots of the design.

Rayne, after my talk with the momma kitty the other nite, they seem to have moved on. I'm glad, I didn't want to have to deal with all of that.

    Cat Whisperer I am not.

    Just glad it worked out.

I am still very much a Granny of an almost two year old and a soon to be newborn. I'm just fortunate that the son waited 5 years before having a family, or I could have a 6 or 7 year old Grandbaby already:D
I was going to go see mine tomorrow, the heat changed my mind. The A/C in the car can't keep up and I don't want a 2 hour drive in heat.

Maybe next week when the boys are at webelo camp when it is cooler. :dunno:

Could use a good momma cat and kittens out at the barn right now, but that's OK, probably wouldn't have figured out a way to get her here.
