The US Media really only likes to point out the controversial things that pisses off the rest of the world, not matter how minor considering the situation/circumstances

Most of the "Real" and Good Press comes after foreign sources (Usually the BBC) break the story AND it gains a lot popularity. Only when it becomes so popular that they HAVE to mention it. Otherwise, they don't do much reporting these days. Seems more like finger pointing and another arm of political parties anymore instead of a "Free Press"
