You didn't shoot anything did you? I didn't even notice. I didn't shoot as much as I usually do. That Mosin sure was fun though. I hope I don't get anyone in trouble for divots in the dam.

The leatherman is great but some basic but practical hand tools are still a good idea. Adjustable wrench, hammer, screwdrivers etc. Just be careful not to add too much weight. Good old fashioned duct tape and maybe some paracord are very useful too.

Yep! I picked his brain about reloading. That pistol brass catcher he made was pretty cool.

That's what I was assuming. I certainly wouldn't recommend that much for daily carry unless it just rides in the trunk or something.

Yep, plan on the wife and I taking turns carrying it.

Edited in teh Nalgen bottle, also has a 3 lt hydration bladder.

Did you made a trip to the range to shoot a single round and then went home?

Did you hit something with it at least?
With just one round to shoot you must have aimed for 20 minutes making sure that you would hit the target dead center.
Did it jam before you could fire it?
