    I dont know if you ever got a sleeping bag or not, but I got a -15 degree mummy bag today for $70 on sale at Dick's sporting goods. Its that field and stream brand made specifically for Dick's.

    Kimmi and I are gonna go check dicks and GM this week.

    When I dump outside I at least try to kick some brush on top of it, but I'm not going out of my way by digging a biff.

    You take your big blade, shove it into the ground at an angle, then lever upwards. Voila. Instant hole for the log fall.

    I'd love some recommendations from people that know their way around a machete.

    Best machete I have ever owned is a surplus vietnam era bolo machete. after 10-15 years of hard use I have finally bent the **** out of it and Im currently looking for another.
