Do Cat's seek you out when your around them? They seem to have a way to sense when someone doesn't like cats and pile onto them.

My ex didn't like cats and when we went to a friend or relatives house that had cats, the cats would be crawling all over her.

Cat are a good judge of character though. We used to have a cat that was fine around everyone, but there we two people that when they came around, she would go out of her way to hiss and growl at them. Turned out, I later discovered they were both turds.
