I had a fuel line break in about 1995 on an 86 Dodge Lancer that my wife bought brand new. Something broke and it was dripping fuel onto the turbocharger.
Fortunately it was in my driveway and I put the fire out with a garden hose, but they totaled the car.
I think i lost about 1/8 - 1/4 tank on the side of I69...
I've used the outside of a mechanical pencil as a make-shift fuel line to get me home once so that I could replace it with a real filter that wasn't plugged solid.
creative... I had a puddle from bumper to bump.... i think I hit a chunk of retread or something... wonder if INDOT with pay for repairs
I'm using an old plastic snow sled as a work tray to clean this Mosin. That way I can pour solvent on my parts without spilling stuff all over the place. Its also big enough to hold all the parts.
