Good morning INGO. I have a window AC unit in too. Shut off or turn up the whole house AC unit at night and just cool the bedroom.

Good morning Sam! That is why I have a room AC unit in my bedroom! so I don't have to run the central AC just to keep me cool at night!

When my daughter is with us, I have to leave the central unit on, but when she is at her mom's, it's just the wife & I. No reason to cool the whole house.
