Date a chinese woman for a while and you might just change your mind. Chinese women are raised to be submissive to men.

I mean they will literally sit at your feet and hold your beer for you while you watch TV in the evening. (not saying it's good or bad just saying that is/was the culture.) Also, in China is a patriarchal society. Men are supposed to protect and provide for the family's needs and ensure that the family name is carried on to future generations. Hence the high abortion rate and abandonment of female children.
