He said they're comfortable enough to wear all day and he works on a lot of movie sets. I don't know how much abuse they see though.

Quick question...Anybody ever had a pair of 5.11 duty boots? I decided to order a pair and was wondering if they were any good.

Bates makes the best boots around!! I tried all the others over the years and by far Bates are the best!!

I found some from Sears that I liked but they seem to have started using cheaper materials to make them now because the last 2 pairs I got have been disappointing. I'm on my feet a lot at work too and I need good support and the ability to bend at the toes a lot without getting torn up.

Well if they don't work out and you need somethine else, I'd take a look at Danner and Bates
