Mine is fine in my upper, but that will pry change when I finally get my lower back and assembled.

ok guys the bushing in my 1911 is super stiff when I try to rotate it. What are the odds this is just carbon build up?

1911's suck. Didn't you see that thread?



It might just be dirty. Clean it up and get really wet with oil and see if it helps for next time.

Yeah. I got it apart waiting till I get a proper bushing wrench to put it all together again and will give it a good scrub before re-assembly.

I know and it's cool. Brownells carries the regular Troy with the holes but not the VTAC with the slots.

ok I've decided its the CH rubbing in the upper. nothing a little sand paper wont fix.
