I've got it good. Other guys in the mill work 6 and 2. 6 on 2 off, they are changing shifts every 8 days.

Back again all. Rotating shifts sucks!

I have been on straight midnights for the last 8 years and love it. Occasionally once a year my days off change but that's it. They went from TUE and WED night last year to WED and THURS this year. Either way to permanent shifts!!

You need to go to the old SUT and do a search on pickle.

It's a institutional staple there.

I'm a Tue through Fri guy, but I work from 6am till I'm done, usually between 7-8pm.

That's not too bad at all. The long days suck though. I usually end up earning 8 hours of comp time a week and burn it with my days off so, end up with 3 day weekends every week. But, I only work from midnight till 8am. Unless I have court or training but, that's only twice a week on average.
