No real damage...just dripping in the kitchen and an unfinished doorway in the back. Ice dam is causing water to back flow under the shingles.

I can't get on my roof to melt it down since every area around my house is an ice rink. The main problem I have is my back porch. I have a roofed over screened in back porch with an angle of about 20 degrees. The main roof is a lot steeper and has to drain across the low pitch roof to get to the gutters. The ice on the low roof dams up the water coming down and forces it under the the shingles since shingles aren't designed to stop water coming up.

DAMN ICE!!!
