That makes my job more difficult.

    "Yep, it's bad dirt."
"Well, what do we do with it, we gotta put a road here!"
"Spend lots of money to fix it."
"We don't have money in the budget for that!"
    "Not my problem"

I have to go look at dirt in Lebanon shortly. I have a feeling it will be bad dirt.

I need dirt. I came up with a plan for the sandbox that is dug into the backyard. I am going to make it a flower garden. Yes, yes I am. Going to put dirt on top of what sand is left and plant.

Garden soil. It comes by the bag. That and Peat humus. Mix it all together and wow...........

I need to replenish the garden. I have 10 bags (huge) Garden soil. 6 great big bags of peat-moss. 20 bags of play sand. This will all be tilled in when we clear out the garden this fall. Then all the leaves will be going on top of it and covered for the winter.
Next spring a serious attack with the tiller and we will have dirt capable of getting "J" man excited.

Nah, garden dirt ain't my thing. I like building dirt. Can't build a 7 story parking garage or 20-something story tower on topsoil.

Morning MrsG, are you having a good morning?

so far so good, I know I don't work today and I can leisurely get things done. Two things I have to do at a certain time, pick the boy up at 2:30 and have dinner ready by 5:30. Other than that, my schedule today

    Good morning everybody!

    Happy Birthday GMan!

Mrs. G - flowers will grow in sand. My yard is all sand. The only places that aren't is where the goat manure/chicken manure used to get piled up to age before going on the garden and the garden. I have flowers everywhere...a lot of them do just fine in pure sand. Buy things that are "drought tolerant" or come see me for starts. :):

the box is a foot or more deeper than the lawn. It needs filled in, no matter what I do. full sun all day. This is going to be an interesting experiment.

I am also out...need to get over to the neighbor's and get her exercises done. It is way too quiet in here. It will be nice when SAM comes back here to post again. I have faith he is going to be here before we know it!
I miss Shadow too....Jagee tries to fill in for him, but it isn't quite the same.

    HAGD Greg!
