It is rampant in Wisconsin. One of the guys I was going to see up there cancelled on me. He and 1/2 his office was sick....

Even though I don't get paid that much I am so glad I have job security. Quite honestly I would be ****ed if I were laid off. This is the only real job I have had.

I don't know about that. I think whatever the unions contract is with the company. Steel Workers are not a very strong union, well, this one isn't. Same union that let Carrier walk all over them there as well.

hubby has only left one job since I have known him that wasn't a layoff. Navistar, layoff. Rolls Royce, layoff. O'Neil Steel, 2 weeks notice. Rexnord, layoff. O'Neil was a filler job until he could get something that paid better. he still gave them 100% when at work and gave them notice.

I've had a headache since yesterday and my neck aches...hoping I'm not getting sick. I would feel horrible if I got the neighbor lady sick.
