hubby has been cleared to go back to work next week. That's a relief, he's been off just over a month now.

No candy here. I had to head to the ER about 1/4 of the way through trick-or-treating, so I gave our candy to the next-door neighbor to pass out.

no, the boss took off 11 days!!
I took 2 vacation days and my 2 days off. I needed after covering her 11 days

Im Gpa x 3 now, my new avatar is the new one. Not sure im cool with being a gpa x3 at my age but im going with it. Im making them call me gpops, grandpa or papa makes me feel to old

Neighbor's German Shepard bit me yesterday. He had the dog out in the yard with him while he was passing out candy. I went up to the dog and offered the back of my hand for him to sniff like I've always done before, and he chomped down. It was an accident waiting to happen, and I'd rather it was me than a kid.

Got an appt with an orthopedic surgeon today just to make sure there was no more extensive damage than the ER doc thought.
