"G" man is the go to guy..........

Yeah, I'll ask him when he gets on...

I can find a console mounted shifter for this caddy everywhere....Nobody is showing the steering column mounted shifter anywhere...

I took it apart, there are 3 ears that screw the shifter to the steering wheel column, he broke 2 of them completely off....

I suppose there isn't a way to fix those.

    I agree.

Every ****ing stud sheared off. The tire went 60 feet into the woods. When I got the tire the dust cover was still on and the studs/nuts where still sitting in the holes. (that sounds kind of dirty). 2 of the studs apparently were sheared some time ago. The other 3 decided to give it up as I went around a curve.
Ouch, glad your ok, and didn't hit anybody else.

:lmfao: don't I know it. Years ago I bought a car that was 2 years old and had 18000 on it. It was still under factory warranty. That was the closest I got to a new car. When it hit 30k I had all kinds of problems with it.

Me to. I usually take that curve on the inside. This time I was in the correct lane. If I had been in the inside lane I would have blocked the road. Not good on a curve.

couldn't leave it sit. He was there in 10 minutes. Liked the response time.
I guess that's a good thing. Still $80 though. I believe they get so much just to hook up.

Last time that tire was off was early spring. Nuts weren't loose. I know what that feels like. The car handled nice until the wheel came off. Then, for some reason, it wouldn't turn or go forward anymore. :D
Tell me what loose nuts feels like, so I can be on the lookout for such nuts!

And I wonder why it wouldn't move. :lmfao:
