It's been a rough week but my troubles are pretty small compared to many. How is your mom doing? How are you holding up?

She's home now....has her good days and bad days.

I'm doing good. Family in the area so that made it easier for all of us.

Not a fun time. My mom is rapidly approaching this. It's always interesting when my brother and I actually talk and compare notes. She tells us both completely different stories.

Yup. I think they don't want to burden us with their problems. That's my take on it. We've talked to them about it but it doesn't do any good.

Yeah, but I never sleep very well. I'm hoping that will change soon. I'm going to buy a C-PAP machine next week.

Birds, I hate that the VA will not pay for your CPAP. I wish I had saved mine. I tossed it when I found out that I could not (legally) sell it. I would have given it to you.

Tricare says they will pay for part of it but insists I buy it through one particular provider. But, that provider says they have no paperwork on me. I've been fighting this for eighteen months. Time to just fend for myself.

It's only available by doctor's prescription, so it's not legal to sell it.
