    Well, it was a really cheap vacation using points to pay for the hotel, flights and rental car. But still, 10 days eating out can rack up some charges....Plus the $90 airport parking fee....:noway:

    When the spouse and I travel we figure $100 a day to cover meals etc. Sometimes less is spent. Sometimes more.

    Plus, I have no money to do anything after being on the west coast for 10 days.....

    The last time I went to the west coast was in high school, and I remember everything costs roughly double what it did back home.

    You figure Breakfast to be $25 plus tip and lunch will be close depending. Dinner is always more. Sodas/waters/snacks.....yup, $100 for 2 people a day.

    Same here. The wife and I go on a trip and she will always think we don't need to budget that much for food, I am always glad that we did anyway.
