New jackboots seem worth the wait... Though next time I'll save time and money by ordering from Amazon.

Have you stomped anyone with them yet? Would like to know their effectiveness.

Glad to hear you finally got your boots, Chez.

I baked two apple pies yesterday and put one more in the freezer to bake later. I ran out of lard so now I can't make more until I find some. I had to go to Shipshewana last time to find it. I screwed up by not getting it when I picked up my beef from the butcher in Wakarusa. I bet they have it in their shop.

New refrigerator should be at the store tomorrow so hopefully, we can get that taken care of this weekend.

The cats ate their donut and are fairly quiet now. Grayson is smacking the screen but he quit crying at least.

I need to go outside and do a few things and then go get the neighbor. Beauty shop day and then bloodwork. She's getting pie, fresh bread and bluegill. That should make her happy. She loves all three of those things.

Danner. They are their "budget" line. Quality made, but imported. I can't afford a $400 pair of their USA made boots.

Yeah, $400 is pretty steep for footwear. I'll have to take a look at those, I could probably use another set of decent boots.
