    My daughter, who lives in Florida, has many bilingual friends. I have tried to convince her to allow them to immerse her boys in the language. I think it would pay off in the future and they are more apt to pick it up quickly at a young age. I guess I haven't convinced her yet.

    I think that's a good idea.

    One of the doctors in our practice is Hispanic, and he has several non-English-speaking patients. Communication with them is difficult.
