I am getting up-date notices from Microsoft. They want to upgrade my laptop to Windows 10. My unit is a 2009 Sony Vaio and I believe it is operating on W 7.
Will mine run 10.
I personally have ignored the prompts to switch to Windows 10. Windows 10 is on a couple of new computers were have bought in the past year and I prefer the Window 7...

I haven't heard anything about them wanting to charge, but it sure would not surprise me.
