Here's how I shot my deck. I was outside the house to the right of the blue dot. The groundhog was at the barn at the purple dot. There is a deck in between. It's in the shadow, hard to see, but it's there and will deflect bullets. Believe me.

What caliber did you use???

You needed a bigger bullet and it wont be deflected by that deck anymore.

Steel challenge is pretty revolver friendly; you know you want to.

As long as you don't miss. Each string takes six rounds. Some use more, some use a LOT more.

But you only need 5 per string.

18x24's were behind the 8" rounds you had to hit. The big plates were a 3 second penalty. Ask me how I know.

WE were flipping CT-2's 6" dueling tree at some fair distance on Saturday. Had to be 25 yards or better.

Always 6 here. Each stage is different each week. Some have stop plates, most don't. It's just for fun, and it's a good bunch of guys. I've never had a bad time.

Ah so it's not "official" steel challenge stages. That makes it more fun and challenging. And 8 shot wheelgun shouldn't have a problem.
