just got home. thermostat is broke. Menards is closed. 61 degrees in the house

Shoot, that's no good. It got chillier down here too. Had to throw the switch and turn the heat back on for a bit.

Doing pretty good. Day 2 of my 11 day vacation. GF starts her vacation today. She's in the middle of her last shift at the lab right now. We have some fun things planned, but we're mostly just going to relax.

We got the sticks/limbs picked up in the back yard a couple days ago and mowed it right after. The grass was about 2' at its thickest. Can't let that happen again.

We were going to get to the front yard yesterday but rain moved in and we couldn't finish the job. Maybe tomorrow.

Busy day today. Breakfast with mom then grocery shopping then a haircut. Then I will be off to Lafayette to get new tires on the Subaru and, most importantly, pick up my new to me CZ P07 Duty. Tracking says it is currently sitting in the Lafayette post office.
