    They couldn't get funding for the operation. All of a sudden, they couldn't get a loan.

    DB must have had cold fingers when he typed that. Cold on the lake??

    I went to get the mail. Went to go out the door and had a deer staring me in the face. They were out of corn. I walked all the way to the barn and toward them with the bucket of corn before they walked into the woods a bit. There were 8 deer, a very large turkey and several squirrels that could have been mistaken for small fox in the back yard. I think they are all well fed. :D

    Yes, it was interesting. In addition to they wanted to build in a flood plain. And county roads aren't set up for the semi-truck traffic. Feed trucks daily, manure trucks daily, and the hauling in and out of stock. Be a lot of traffic on a county rd. And the rd they wanted to build on is the first one to be closed when the river floods. CR225 is 100' from the river.

    The flood plain issue alone should have voided the request for a permit with IDEM.
