I have been sucked back into the Restoration/HotRod fold.
Friend of my sons that is like a son to me has been restoring a 1971 Cutlass convertible to clone 442 status.
The mechanic he was using took him to the cleaners. Sad state of affairs. The fella knows me and had to know I would be looking at his work.
I looked....he is a thief and will be getting an attitude adjustment sometime in the near future. Not from me but folks we all know are seriously PO'd about this.

I am off to look at what he has and what needs to be done on the drive train etc. Looks like I am building an engine.

Best I can see here he took my guy for north of 5K.

The body guy is great and doing his part.
I will be doing the engine/trans/rear end work I guess.

I hate buying cars....The whole process is such a PITA....

I am hoping that mine will last me until the end of the year. I'll have a big commission check coming 1/15/17 and that is going to a new (used) car...
