I cleaned out some flower beds and transplanted some daffodils, crocus and lillies that I found in the woods yesterday. I have LOTS more to do but it really is kind of early to uncover all of the plants so I am stopping myself. Hubby is out in the front yard doing something noisy preparing to plant grass seed since it is supposed to rain. I moved a holly bush too. He didn't like where I had it so figured I'd move it before it got too big to easily dig.

Apparently, I planted lot of bulbs where I don't remember putting them. Tulips and daffodils are popping up in places I did not expect. I really should make notes of what I plant I guess.

If this weather keeps up, I'm going to have to go get the bulbs out of the root cellar and into the ground soon. I think I could safely do them at this point....I don't expect a hard freeze now.

Hello mom45. It's starting to green up in a big way. Lillys are out here also. Grass is greening up too.

I think the dryer just shut off so I guess I should go empty that and then get the mail. I need to get the chairs out to put by the fire pit too. Clouding up now so we probably won't get a fire tonight, but I'm thinking we could have one soon with the weather being so nice.

60 degrees here...this is the mildest March I can recall in a while.
