Sunday is dad's birthday. That might be a good reason for a couple of shots. We almost got busted when he was in the hospital last summer and I had to smuggle in his Jim Beam so we could have a shot together.

Yeah...we had to tell him no after my brother/pharmacist told us that it might be an issue with some of the meds he was on. He usually has two shots at night for his back...numbs his pain better than painkillers without the side effects.

I'm not big on the peppermint, but I have some pretty awesome homemade concoctions here that are rum or vodka based. A few others that use Everclear.

I could give this a try. I wonder what proof that homemade **** is that I have in the closet. That crazy serb brought me some good **** a couple of years ago. Slivovic that he made. That was how he described it though as "good ****". It burns when you drink it...hubby can't do it but I do a shot every so often with my dad.

I met with one surgeon last week to look at the MRI, and because of the type of damage, he has referred me to another one. I just like to make the payments on their Mercedes.
