Thanks, Birds. This is getting to be a very frustrating situation. I'm almost afraid to leave her alone any more, but I have to work and can't afford in-home care. A nursing home is NOT an option at this point,

Thanks. I may have to start looking into some "work from home" possibilities. Now that there is online schooling for home-schooled students, maybe I can look into what it takes to teach with one of those companies.

Not really. Basically people uncertain how to handle a situation, so they choose to ignore it rather than ask for guidance.
