On a Sig, you want to keep the rails where the slide goes on the frame, greased well. If you run them dry, the anodization on the frame rails will wear down to the alloy and there is no coming back from that.

Is that an issue with those guns?
You know how people are. They don't read up about what they own. They don't want to maintain their stuff. I have Sigs with no visible wear on the rails at all with a thousand plus rounds through it. But I keep them greased like you are supposed to do.

No, sir. Probably doing a little house work and some gun cleaning. Been thinking about maybe venturing over to Lafayette and picking up a couple of light/lasers for two of my guns.

I have one on my Phantom I use for HD. They are pretty cool. Put the laser where you want it and you don't even have to bring the gun up. What you see is what you get.

Not sure what the wife has up her sleeve for today. I should probably clean the bathrooms. I broke the belt on th sweeper this week, so had to order a new one.

We have a bag less sweeper that the wife thought was a great idea... I hate dumping it into the trash. The dust flies and I feel like I have to resweep the area then.
