I would now. we didn't have much money when we were kids so we got our own. It's not like it was hard work

One day my friend and I decide to steal some of his dads beer, bicycle to the pit, fish and camp out. we made 2 trips to get the beer, tent and fishing supplies there. It was about a 5 mile ride one way. We tied the beer to a rope and tossed it in the deep part to get it cool. Caught a lot of cat fish but didn't have any thing to put them in so we dugs a hole near the waters edge. It filled with water and we kept the fish in there. when we woke up in the morning the fish were and there were raccoon tracks all over the place ;D

yup, we never thought about that. It was mostly about the beer and camping out. I spent many summers at that pit.

we don't have coon problem in the country. they have all moved to the city
