The older I get, the smaller my social circle becomes....Once ya hit mid-40's or so, you become less willing to put up with crap...

I have cut off contact with several people over the past 7-8 years, don't need the trouble or drama...

That goes with family too, but because your related by blood or marriage, doesn't mean you owe them a damned thing. Some family members just don't seem to get that.

Double ditto. We eliminated quite a bit of drama about a year ago. Moved on and never looked back.

We have done the same thing, not so much for the drama, but for the airborne virus's.

My wife has a brother who is a real lowlife. She only tries to contact him now to get him to call is Mom a couple times a year. When MIL passes, will probably never contact again.
