I never have figured out the logic of that. The few times I have received a 1st class upgrade, I wait until the plane is nearly fully boarded to get on. WHY do you want everyone bumping you boarding the plane????

I feel the same way Sam , it has never made sence to me , you have all them MF'ers with their so called carry on's banging into people as they go way to the back , if I was first class id want to get on last and get off the plane first , and why the rush to the line -- you have a ticket and assigned seat - it aint like anyone can take your seat
