I've been through there a few times. When the kids were little, dad liked to meet there occasionally and eat at that truck stop that used to be on the east side of town. He liked the way when you ordered b&g, you got the fried taters hidden underneath.

I was hoping to Skype with the grandsons this morning but I found out the ex is there. So, she probably will keep that from happening.

This brings back bitter memories of Christmas past. I joined INGO when I was steered that way by a member I met at Gander Mountain. I was at Gander Mountain looking at overpriced guns in the attempt basically at getting away from myself at the end of 2011. That year, Christmas was on Sunday and my mom dropped of a heart attack (right in front of me) without warning on Tuesday morning and lasted in a coma until Wednesday 1/4/12. The basic problem is that, although I didn't realize it, she really had quit taking care of herself, and the primary reason was a couple of years without getting to see her grandchildren which were the only real bright spot in her life, just because my half-sister is an evil b*tch who was being extremely vengeful because for once mom had told her 'no' when she wanted something (and it was NOT a small something). Mom was only 58 at the time.

If your ex is that nasty, I would be delighted to hear of her meeting a similar fate. There is just no room in the universe for that.

Cooking for the Christmas pitch in Breakfast

Some days the words just don't seem to flow so smoothly as we would prefer, but I am hoping that Christmas will be heavy on joy and light on sorrow. The screen is getting really blurry about now. The best I can say is that I recommend that you and Cindy not only take comfort in all who love you, but also in that you both are the type of people whose nature is conducive to being loved. Then have fun trying to keep up with the little munchkins!

    Merry Christmas my friends

It's been a long time since I have woken without a child in the house on Christmas morning. I haven't even turned my lights on the tree on
