The Wizard is sitting here singing the virtues of the .308. This should be interesting.

Nice... The item still shows "in-stock with guaranteed delivery by Christmas" on Amazon...

Even a little not that says "you purchased this item on Dec. 8th, do you want to order another?"

Screen capped that and included it in my reply.

The Wizard is sitting here singing the virtues of the .308. This should be interesting.

Accuracy of a .308 can be can be tightened up over high dollar ammo by using top quality bullets and powder primer selection for long range accuracy. I have used the Sierra match king 168 boat tails with much success.
    1. Fire form the brass in your favorite .308 Do not mix brands or lot numbers of your brass.
    2. Use a good set of neck size only dies, afterword's this reloaded ammo should only be fired out your favorite .308.
    3. Run your fire formed brass through your brass polisher of choice to make em look brand new.
    4. After depriming use a primer pocket uniforming tool.
    5. Trim all cases to spec then lightly chamfer the neck inside and out.
    6. Carefully weigh each powder charge for maximum uniform charge. All samey same!!!
    7. Set the bullet OAL to within several thousands from touching the lands and grooves.
    8. Use lightest amount of crimp if any to keep the projectile from setting back during recoil.
As a re-loader it is extremely satisfying when you can tighten up your groups. It does require a lot of steps but saves a lot of $$ if you are already set up for it.

Did you buy from Amazon or a different seller?
