    I noticed in the picture you posted last night that your lovely bride seems to always have a certain look on her face. Like she is always exercising extreme patience. ;)

    Oh yeah....

    When I was a kid, there was a precious moments cross-stitch hanging on my bedroom wall that said "Please be patient, God isn't finished with me yet". As an adult, I now realize that translated to "Don't kill the little bastard yet, he still might turn out ok".


    Recently my wife asked my dad if he still had it. :facepalm:

    I had never heard it put that way, but I guess I am hoping for swimmers.
    My aunt made the best ever IMO and hers were a big more dense than what some people make.

    The dumpling community is nearly as divided as the OC/CC argument here.

    I love both, with a slight edge to swimmers. Floaters use more leavening, so they're really light and fluffy. Swimmers are dense.

    Mom made the fluffy floaters. They were okay.
