The 383 in it has been hotted up to 425 HP 465 TQ and I get 400 of that at 2K without the weight of the Hemi. With 295/50/15 on the back it takes off like a cat launch with 3.55 gears. It won't run much faster than 130 but it gets there quick. The GT has the legs on it once you get up to speed and gets 25mpg instead of 8. That modern stuff always wins out in the end.

There is no competing with the modern stuff. You can get a pickup truck north of 600HP now days. But nothing sounds like a REAL Hemi!

That was one of the deciding factors in me selling my Drag cars.
The modern LT guys with Modems and lap tops and turbos were fast catching up to my 486 Merlin big block chevy.
