Night DB...I think I missed him. I was crocheting again.

Spouse had the fire place on and the blower running. I got all snoozy comfy on the couch and..............

Wood stove is going here. Cats are all sacked out. One outside cat still hanging out on the couch.

mmmm...fire in the fireplace on a cool fall evening. Makes me sleepy and I'm not there.

Not fired the wood stove up yet but I did have 2 rik's dropped here to day. It was in a pile out front so I moved/stacked it all up in the lean-too's.
I am glad that is done.

Nope. He has been here since he was born and is 17. He pees on things when not watched closely so cannot be left in unsupervised. The other two went outside already and back to the man cave. It is warmer in there than it is in here so I don't feel badly for them.

Not fired the wood stove up yet but I did have 2 rik's dropped here to day. It was in a pile out front so I moved/stacked it all up in the lean-too's.
I am glad that is done.

I think we split and stacked about 6 cords this week. I hope we are done for a while but the big logs are still waiting to be done so maybe not.

When we first moved here, we had no splitter and hubby did it all with a splitting maul. I'm glad those days are behind us. That splitter makes it so much better and faster.

We cut/split on mt sisters place out by Martinsville. He had the splitter attachment on his Kubota tractor. The killer winter of 2 years ago convinced us this was not something we wanted to continue.
I sold 2 of my saws, kept the newest one. Sold the utility trailer.
