I have always done the lions share of things revolving around home repair. Acquired the skills/tools moving through life.
I have come to the realization that I am not the guy I was 10 years ago. The house needs some attention and I was going to get it done myself as usual.
TYhe spouse and my aching body convinced me that it was time to start getting estimates.

Ingo member came out and measured up my roof yesterday. Also the siding on the old Garage now family room.

Screw it, I will help but lets get it done.

I'm just venting/whining/b****ing a little. This is my "acquire skills/tools" period, and I'm sure both will serve me well and save money over the long run.

Yep, I just called a landscape company to do one last mow, get rid of leaves, and do a general fall clean-up (good weedwhacking, pick up sticks, branches, etc.). I just don't have what it takes to do it.

I also may call an electrician to look at my kitchen light fixture, even though it's something I've tackled before.

You sound like me Snap......There are things around the house I CAN do, I just don't want to screw with it and would rather just pay someone else....
