I need to buy a few hand tools, which I haven't had to do in a long time. I used to buy Craftsman back when they were US made. I have heard they aren't what they used to be. So what do people buy now without going to the crazy priced Snap ons?

Craftsman is still the best for the price point depending on what level you will be using them.
For a hobbyist they are fine.
