The Potato plants are really taking off.

I got my last peck of potatoes out of the root cellar yesterday. I am hoping to get fresh ones before I have to buy more at the store. There is a guy near us that has a cart in front of his house and he always puts fresh produce out for people to buy. He still does the honor system. I know he has been ripped off at times, but I love being able to just stop and get what I need, write it down for him and stuff my money in the cash slot. Very convenient and always good. I like supporting him.

I'll venture out to my garden after supper. It looks, from the window, I have some work to do.

He gets ripped off at times, but he figures that it is usually folks who cannot afford to pay and he makes excuses for them. He's a really nice guy. Makes me sad that people do it because I know he works hard and is not a young man.
