Good morning. It's looking like it is going to rain...bring it on! My flowers need water. Hubby is working on the house again and then we are going to Valpo. He needs more stain and I want to buy some stepping stones for my new flower garden I am planting. I have to tear out some grass but want to put a path through it for walking.

I wish it would just rain already. We've gotten a few sprinkles but not enough.

I took this picture this morning. This Iris is a dinnerplate variety and apparently the blossoms are going to get that big once it is established. I planted this last year after the neighbor shared it with me. It is beautiful!

I love irises. I've always wanted some but have never gotten any. BF has some pretty yellow ones in his yard but didn't know what they were.

They are ridiculously expensive to buy, but I have gotten all of mine from friends/family. I literally got a half a pickup load from my sister the last time I was down there. I bet there were a thousand that I planted. I am going to have them EVERYWHERE in a couple of years. I have several colors now.
