Hubby walked in with the steaks as I was typing that last comment. No asparagus tonight but we are stuffed and there was plenty of other stuff to eat. We'll have it tomorrow. I'm stuffed and we didn't even cut into the pie yet.

I found two apple pies in the freezer that the neighbor and I put together last fall. I baked one this morning...one more to go. It might be tomorrow's breakfast. The cowboy beans were better than ever. I threw in a pork hock (smoked) and that really did it! I will have to take some to the neighbor lady. She loves beans and these were the best ever.

just ran 200rd's threw a RIA Super 38 i bought a while back.......gave it a tune up....all new inerds!!!!......ran 100% but i need a stiffer recoil spring it chuckin' my brass 20ft!!!!

Miss K is coming to spend the weekend with me!!!! I am off Friday, leaving at 3 Thursday after work and going to spend the night at Dads then come home with my princess.

I'm sure I will hear something this week though on the promotion

I'm keeping my fingers crossed on the promotion!

We went out and sat in the yard for an hour or so and had 6 deer visit. The usual four were out there for quite a while. They didn't care that we were there. Two more younger ones ran in to join them and were being silly. I believe they were bucks the way they were rearing up and playing...smacking each other with their front legs and stuff.
