I just got a phone call from a few buddies back in Indiana. Guess US Steel just layed off a ton of managment people. I feel for those guys. Hope everyone lands on their feet.

Damn ,that sucks . Act has been talking a lot about that -- that a big lay off was coming ,and I guess contract time is coming up .

I seen the writing on the wall years ago. Glad I escaped when I did. Steel industry will slowly move overseas. To much regulation here. It's all about the profit. Act would tell ya, he's been around that industry for awhile. US Steel would walk over their dead mother to pick up a dime. They do not care about the employees lives only profit.

Yup, my advise to anybody right now. Choose happiness over money. Pick a job that you can enjoy being at everyday. The money will come. Can't put a price on a smile!!
