Management would always talk about us being lucky to get OT, I told them kindly where they could stick it. I don't like working for $10/hr on the back end.

management was probably 40 or so hours and salary -right ?
Yep, pretty rare they hit 41 hours, but when they did, EVERYONE heard about it.
Management makes the world go around.....
Service company want the hours out of every truck when they are available. after 40 you have paid your part of business overhead. It is gravy for them and torture for you.
Hey CM, when was that chewt you mentioned this month?
Management makes the world go around.....
They've had me go help several other techs over the last week, or follow up on their calls to fix what they messed up. Think it's time to talk $$. There's less than 12 out of 50 that are real Service Techs, and of that I'd say less than 8 are REAL Service Techs.
This Saturday.
Shadow has all the details and look up the "You are invited" thread.
Management makes the world go around.....
And will run you into the ground.........Oh wait, you are in management now right.....
Body's in trucks. Standard deal. Makes life hell on the smart guy's.
Oh, Shadow's gonna be there.
The compressor I changed yesterday took 2 techs to diagnosis, 1st guy said it was a bad breaker in the panel. The last guy out took 4 hours to trace the problem. Took me all of 30 minutes to pull it apart and diagnosis it. Then I had to run to Trane in Plainfield to get a compressor plug, contactor and capacitor which the other guy didn't order.
Bad breaker boy needs to go find a fork lift job.
