It is a tough deal nowadays as everybody thinks they are a flipper.
We bought distressed property and fixed them up. Rented and tried to sell on contract to those renters we deemed worthy. Some are still in those houses.

I'm hoping to one day have enough capital to get into vacation rentals, but we will see where life takes us. I'm not quite handy enough to flip

Yep...me too. My mom's side of the family has a lot of it. Dad's side is heart disease. I'm doomed.

Yep. So we live our lives and enjoy each day because none of us really knows how long we have.
