I did that with many French words that you guys use in English and people looked at me funny.
I also have to forget the meaning of the French words that you use with different meaning.
Like the word "matinée" that you use to call a movie that you see in the afternoon ... when the word "matinée" means morning.
Or "à la mode" that you use for pies with ice cream (I think).
