    I got a full size a couple of weeks ago...still haven't shot it yet. I now has a Shield, compact and full size. All 9mm...so CM won't steal them from me ;)

    You can try the m&p 22lr pistol, It will get you hoked, and you'll buy another!

    In fairness, I did it with tech sights. later transferred them to the 20" rifle. Hell you're both young and have your eyes still. Either should be easy. I have faith in you!
    CM's the tough nut... he's older... a lot more years of shooting... habits.

    Rifleman isn't hard. nothing great. Lot's of shooters have done it. 'Good enough' is all it takes. it is easy. just 'back to basics'
