The next guns i'm buy I'm not getting rid of. I've had a nasty habit of buying and selling guns on whims. I promise the wife that I only buy what I'm going to keep. So I'm going to more picky now. Just last year a bought and sold over 20 pistols. That's just crazy.

My end is running fine. On the 97 you could have it bored and fitted with a 1911 barrel bushing.
