Roads are wet and slushy here. .. otherwise fine.

The plow just went by. He lives down the road a few miles and his wife takes my road to go to work so we get plowed and sanded first Up until last year we were lucky to see a plow before 4 pm

we don't see a plow unless we have 6" of accumulation in 1 storm, then we have to wait awhile because it is private contractors doing it. We can get 4" snow today, 4" snow Wednesday and no plow. City has to save money somewhere so the neighborhoods get left out

oh and did I say, they NEVER plow the alleys, where most people park in the neighborhoods. SO we be stuck hard sometimes.

when I lived in town our alley rarely got plowed. The only way was if everyone who used the alley would call in and complain.

that wouldn't work either

it barely works to get the potholes filled in the summer.

we paid to have our end of the alley plowed last year. 3 houses to the road cost us $50. Took care of the neighbor to our east as well. no choice but to take care of the one to the west, since that was closest way to get out of the alley

I told them the signs worked fine all these years.
But, it is supposed to be, as conditions permit.
And people ignore that part.

Did you guys see the 80/94 video with car after car slamming into each other?
Over 100 cars.

I'm back, had to get my lovely Bride off to work. Made her lunch and loaded her bags into the car.

Poor thing is coughing like crazy. The Tamiflu last week really helped her recover from the flu quickly, but didn't help a bit with the cough...

Mornn all - the roads really suck - just went to local gas station and back - took 25 mins and its less than 7 miles round trip - roads are like a skating rink - be safe
