    Went to get the mail and we have COLD WIND here now. Hubby still messing with the stupid car.

    But...this girl got the wood stove going with NO kindling!! :woot: I haven't been allowed to chop kindling since the unfortunate hatchet incident where I chopped my thumb to the center of the fingernail. That has healed, but I have a hatchet ban in place...permaban. :laugh:

    It blew my Christmas decorations over (what little I have outside) and then whipped the ashes into my face from the ash pan. Luckily, they were not hot since the stove was dead all day. Dropped to 65 in here so I figured I'd get the stove going. One less thing hubby has to do when he gets done fixing the car. Assuming it will be done today.
